Knife-Wielding Man Holds Up Restaurant

From Staff Reports

A man with a knife robbed a north Spokane restaurant Tuesday night, police said.

The robbery occurred about 7 p.m. at Bruchi’s sandwich shop, 829 E. Indiana.

Employees said a man walked into the store wearing a ski mask and a heavy jacket. He pulled out a knife and ordered a worker to give him money from the cash register.

The bandit then walked outside to a dirty white car - described by witnesses as a “big boat” - and drove away.

No one was hurt.

Employees said the man was about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. He had blond hair, a mustache, goatee and blue eyes.
