A 44-year-old man accidentally shot himself to death Thursday morning with his rifle.

Latah County sheriff’s deputies found Daniel Wayne Steuer, dead from a single gunshot wound at a home northeast of Moscow.

The shot was fired accidentally from a black-powder rifle, deputies said. It was not known what caused the rifle to discharge. , DataTimes
