Two Men Wounded Outside Silver Lanes

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two Spokane men suffered minor injuries Thursday after being shot outside a South Hill bowling alley, police said.

The victims told police they were sitting in a parked car with another man shortly after midnight outside Silver Lanes Bowling, 3023 E. 28th.

Minutes earlier, they said they had a run-in with a man inside the bowling alley.

Shots were fired from behind the car, and the victims immediately drove away, they told police. Officers found shell casings at the scene and at least six bullet holes in the car.

The victims - 18 and 22 years old - were treated at a local hospital.

The 18-year-old was shot in his left arm. The older man was treated for a bullet fragment in his cheek, police said. , DataTimes
