Thefts Reported From Purses, Desks

A well-dressed man has been stealing from purses and desks in downtown commercial and public buildings, Spokane police warned Saturday.

The thief walks into offices, storage rooms and other restricted areas, grabbing anything of value, police said.

He’s described as white, in his late 30s, about 6 feet tall. Police say he weighs about 195 pounds and is built like a weightlifter. The thick-necked man has brown eyes and hair, a mustache and a round face.

Anyone who spots him should call police or building security.
