Jamie Redd and Malinda Lynch each hit 3-pointers in the final two minutes to put No. 14 Washington ahead for good in a 95-88 victory over No. 20 North Carolina State in Sunday’s championship game of the Husky Classic in Seattle.
Washington made a school-record 13 3-pointers, including six by Redd, who tied a school individual record for the second time this season.
Redd scored 27 points for Washington (8-0), while Amber Hall scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Summer Erb scored 22 points for N.C. State (10-1).
The loss broke the Wolf Pack’s school-record-tying streak of ten straight wins at the start of season.
The Wolfpack trailed by as many as 15 points early in the second half, but rallied to take two one-point leads, the last one with 2:30 left.

Heather Owens, of Moscow, Idaho, had 21 points to lead Stanford.
