Police Seek Pair In Armed Robbery

From Staff Reports

Sheriff’s deputies continued to search late Tuesday for two men who robbed a Spokane Valley credit union.

The men entered Horizon Credit Union, 1204 S. Pines, about 5 p.m., displayed guns and demanded money, deputies said.

The two men left with an undisclosed amount of money and were slowed, but not stopped, by a citizen who intentionally parked his car to block their escape, deputies said.

The suspects ran away and deputies used canine teams to track their footprints in the snow. One suspect is described as white, in his 40s, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 210 to 220 pounds with salt and pepper hair pulled back in a ponytail. He wore tan coveralls, an orange stocking cap and carried a black, long-barreled gun.

The other suspect is described as white, in his late 30s or early 40s, 5 feet, 11 inches tall with medium brown collar-length hair. He was wearing a green Army jacket, jeans, a blue stocking cap and carried a black revolver.
