Second Suspect Sought In Valley Shooting Death
Sheriff’s detectives have released the name of a second Idaho man they are seeking in the shotgun slaying of a Spokane Valley resident.
Investigators want to question Edward A. Burrow, 22, about the killing of Jeremy Moore, sheriff’s Lt. John Simmons said Friday.
Burrow, who lives in Post Falls, is thought to be one of three men who barged into an apartment at 10101 E. Main Tuesday to confront Moore.
Witnesses reported that Moore was killed when he opened the front door to the apartment about 1:45 p.m.
But authorities said Friday the 20-year-old Moore was shot once in the head at close range after a struggle with the intruders in a back bedroom. He died instantly.
Moore apparently knew his attackers, and detectives are investigating several motives for the shooting, said Simmons, who declined to give further details.
Burrow works as a roofer and is the father of a 3-year-old girl, according to court records.
He has no criminal record in Spokane or Kootenai counties, outside of two traffic violations in the past five years.
Burrow has contacted authorities about turning himself in, and negotiations are taking place between detectives and the man’s attorney, Simmons said. “We’re talking with him,” he said.
Investigators also are looking for 19-year-old Christopher Clay Gober, thought to be one of the other two men who attacked Moore. Gober, also known as Christopher Earl Harriman, is considered armed and dangerous.
Gober, who is out on bail, is a reputed gang member who is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday for his part in a drive-by shooting in Coeur d’Alene earlier this year.
The third suspect in the Moore shooting has not been identified, and detectives have not named a suspected shooter.
