Nowen Wins Again
It’s a been a season of streaks in women’s World Cup skiing and now it’s Ylva Nowen’s turn. The Swede earned her third straight slalom victory, edging American Kristina Koznick by one-tenth of a second.
Nowen trailed Koznick by .12 seconds after the 58-gate first run, but produced a perfect second run.
Koznick’s second place was her best career finish and the best result for an American this season.
