Sledding Accident Kills 2-Year-Old Boy

Compiled From Wire Services

A 2-year-old boy was killed Sunday when he was pinned between his grandfather and a tree they hit while sledding down an icy hill in a park.

The 53-year-old grandfather was taken to a hospital for observation, Milwaukee police Sgt. Thomas Doehling said.

Authorities withheld the victims’ names.

David Carrier, 18, who lives across the street from the park, said there have been so many sledding accidents there that some people call it “Suicide Hill.”
