Allmaras Scores 22 To Lead Sandpoint Past Lakeland

Tarrah Allmaras, a 5-foot-4 guard, came up big for Sandpoint Tuesday.
Allmaras scored 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field, and added six rebounds and five assists to lead the Bulldogs (3-8) to a 42-25 non-league win over visiting Lakeland (3-5).
Natasha Cargill added 10 rebounds for Sandpoint, which started quickly when Chrissy Ross scored six first-quarter points.
Sandpoint shot 41 percent from the field and 60 percent from the line. The Hawks shot 25 percent from the line, 21 percent from the floor.

Rachea Allert scored seven points in the fourth quarter, when Molly Carlson hit 4 of 4 from the line, as the Rangers (7-1) defeated the host Indians (4-2) in the title game.
Selkirk trailed 27-20 in the third quarter, but Allert’s 3-pointer with the shot clock running down and 2:30 left in the game boosted the Rangers to a five-point lead. Carlson hit 11 of 13 free throws. Reardan’s Kristen Turner had nine rebounds but was held to less than half of her 20-points-per-game average.
