Jaguars Kicker To Kickoff Autograph Store Opening
To celebrate Legends Autographs grand opening, Jackson Jaguars placekicker Mike Hollis, who played at Central Valley High School and the University of Idaho, will appear today from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Tickets are $5 per person with one autograph per ticket. The store at 1425 N. Argonne will be stocked with color photos and mini-helmets to purchase and have signed.
Owner Rick Hartwig recently moved his store from the Flour Mill to its new Valley location. In addition to autographed sports items, the store has science-fiction, music and celebrity items, which Hartwig has been collecting for 20 years.
Sprint store open house
Sprint PCS will hold the grand opening of its Valley store with a week of activities beginning today and running through Feb. 22.
Prizes such as a weekend getaway at The Coeur d’Alene Resort, free tickets to Dante’s Peak, and a $500 gift certificate from Harry Ritchie Jewelers will be given away.
Every person who comes into the store will receive a free 20-minute long distance card and a free trial PCS phone call to anyone in the United States.
Lowe’s wins industry award
Lowe’s Easy Living, which sells central vacuum systems, has been honored as the 1996 new dealer of the year by Beam Industries. The award is presented annually to the top new Beam dealer in the United States for total sales of Beam products.
Dean, Lori and Gerald Lowe received the award at a national sales meeting last month in Jacksonville, Florida.
Lowe’s, located at 10221 E. Montgomery, has been serving Spokane residents since 1982.
