Four Arrested On Drug Charges
Three Albion residents and one Clarkston man were arrested after authorities searched a home in a joint drug investigation.
Jonathan P. Recknagle, 18, was arrested on a felony count of possession of methamphetamines and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Steven Kyle Skalabrin, 24, was charged with two felony counts of criminal conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and two gross misdemeanor offenses of rendering criminal assistance.
Both men were booked into the Whitman County Jail after their arrests Wednesday. Albion is a small town north of Pullman, just west of the Idaho border.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested and booked into the Whitman County Juvenile Facility for two felony counts of delivery of marijuana, two felony counts of delivery of psilocybin mushrooms and one felony count of delivery of methamphetamines.
James Stamper, 31, of Clarkston, was arrested for investigation of possession of methamphetamines. He was released pending charges.
The search was carried out by officers of the Whitman County sheriff’s department, Quad Cities Drug Task Force, the Washington State Patrol and the Albion Police Department.
Officials said other arrests likely will follow after related investigations are finished.
