Elizabeth Taylor Recovering Quickly

Compiled From Wire Services

Elizabeth Taylor was recovering quickly Friday, the day after surgeons removed a tumor from her brain, and her publicist predicted she’ll be home in time for her 65th birthday.

“The doctors are really happy. They are just thrilled,” said Shirine Ann Coburn. Taylor should be home in time for her birthday on Thursday, Coburn added.

The surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center removed a 2-inch wide tumor from just behind and above Taylor’s left ear. Doctors said they expect a full recovery.
