16,050 Watch Purdue Pull Upset

Purdue gained a share of the Big Ten Conference championship Sunday as Jannon Roland scored 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in leading the Boilermakers to an 80-75 road victory over No. 17 Illinois.

Purdue (16-9, 12-4) tied for the league title with Illinois (20-6, 12-4) and Michigan State (21-6, 12-4).

Former Coeur d’Alene High School star Corissa Yasen scored 13 points for Purdue.

The crowd of 16,050 was a record for a single Big Ten women’s game.
