Stabbing Victim’s Body Identified

Police have identified the body of young man who was found fatally stabbed.

Christopher James Grote, 22, of Tacoma, was found Saturday morning behind a downtown business. He had been stabbed several times in the chest, police said.

Officers were called to the scene to answer a report of “suspicious circumstances.” The investigation continued on Monday.

“We’ve got a lot of leads. We’re working on a lot of things,” said Lt. Ken Dobie of the Shelton Police Department.
