Jury To Continue Deliberating 1994 Double-Murder Case
A Spokane County jury resumes deliberations today in the Joseph Andrews double-murder trial.
Andrews, 26, is charged with the February 1994 execution-style murders of Eloise Patrick and Larry Eaves near Browne’s Addition. Both victims were shot in the head three times in what authorities say was a payback over an unpaid drug debt.
The six-man, six-woman jury began deliberating Tuesday night.
Andrews, 26, who has denied responsibility for the killings, is charged with two counts of aggravated murder. Jurors could convict him of lesser first-or second-degree murder charges, or find the defendant not guilty.
If convicted of aggravated murder, Andrews faces a death sentence or life imprisonment without parole.
