Take no for answer
Those who would obtain undeserved power by means of appeals to the emotions and prejudices of Valley people are trying for the fourth time in 10 years to ram Valley incorporation down our throats.
This time, the would-be leaders are not going to publicize their efforts for Valley incorporation coming up in February, until the last days, so that those who will vote “no” will not know about the election until the last minute, if at all.
A vote no used to mean no!! What’s going on?
I live at Sprague and Bowdish. If incorporation is ever approved, our taxes out here will go right out of sight.
How else do you think these demagogues are going to fund all the services required to run a city? A lot more taxes!
Frankly, I am sick and tired of politicians, would-be or otherwise.
We don’t want your incorporation playground. Leave us alone, take no for an answer and get off our backs. Jim Wilbur Spokane
