Air China Orders Two Boeing ‘Combi’ Jets

Air China has ordered two Boeing 747-400s valued at about $383 million, Boeing said Thursday.

Air China, which now operates 45 Boeing jets, plans to use the 268-passenger “combi” planes, which set aside part of the passenger cabin for additional cargo space, on routes to Europe and the United States.
