More Bones Found At Building Site

From Staff And Wire Reports

Police have found more human bones at a construction site for a new home.

The King County medical examiner’s office will look at the bones on Monday.

Saturday’s discovery was the third time in less than a week that bones have been uncovered at the site south of Seattle.

The investigation began Tuesday when a worker uncovered a human thigh bone. Since then, a police officer has been posted at the site around the clock, and diggers have been working about eight hours a day, Detective Bill Bales said.

An Explorers youth group is helping police officers search the lot.

The 10-year-old bones are believed to be those of a man, said police Lt. Greg Westby.

It’s still unknown how the person might have died or how the bones came to be buried in the lot.
