Spokane County commissioners
Wednesday, 8 a.m., Spokane City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.
Commissioners will hear from nine developers who contend, among other things, that there was not enough public input before a committee made its recommendations for “interim urban growth boundaries.”
At 1 p.m., commissioners will take public testimony about the location of the boundaries. In the next two weeks, the meeting will be continued three times, in the Valley, on the North Side and on the West Plains, to give more people opportunities to comment. (The 1 p.m. meeting will be canceled if commissioners find during the morning meeting that the developers’ appeals have merit.)
