Most Ernst Stores To Close Sunday

Ernst Home Center Inc. says today and Sunday will mark the final weekend of the company’s liquidation.

Some stores are already closed and most will be closed after Sunday. All are slated to be closed by Jan. 31, said Doug Curtis of Ozer Group, the liquidation company handling the disposition of the inventory.

Prices are already 60 percent to 80 percent off retail and by Sunday will be as much as 90 percent off, Curtis said.

The Seattle-based home-improvement chain was established in 1893.
