George Petticrew’s offensive rebound and putback with 2 seconds left Friday allowed ninth-ranked Lakeside (10-4, 7-1) to edge host Chewelah 45-44 and remain tied for first in the Northeast A League.
Petticrew rebounded Brian Coe’s miss. The Cougars (6-6, 4-4) had taken a 44-43 lead with 30 seconds left on Travis Meserve’s free throw.
