Kerns To Represent Workers On Panel

Former Idaho AFL-CIO President Jim Kerns has been elected chairman of the Idaho Industrial Commission for the next two years.

Kerns, appointed by former Democratic Gov. Cecil Andrus midway through his fourth term, is the employee representative on the three-member panel that administer’s the Idaho worker’s compensation laws.

Rachel Gilbert is the employer representative and James Kile is the attorney representative.
