Slow-Starting Arkansas Wins In Overtime

Karyn Karlin’s layup with 2:52 left in overtime led No. 18 Arkansas to an 85-76 victory over No. 20 Stephen F. Austin in a non-conference women’s basketball matchup Tuesday.

Arkansas (15-4) outscored SFA (17-3) 19-10 in the extra period after Karen Jones hit a layup to tie the game 66-66 for the Razorbacks with 1:05 left in regulation. SFA took a 31-24 halftime lead and opened a 15-point lead with 2:51 left in regulation before the Razorbacks began their comeback.
