Comment Earns Man Life Term

Compiled From Wire Services

A trash-talking drug offender mouthed off to the wrong person: his judge.

Jerrick Michael Snell had already been sentenced to 20 years for cocaine possession Thursday when the judge walked by his cell. Snell blurted out a suggestion that Judge Lawson Little perform oral sex on him.

Little ordered Snell gagged and brought back to the courtroom. The judge upped Snell’s sentence to the maximum - life behind bars.

“I never had a chance to talk to Mr. Snell. He was brought in gagged,” said attorney David Hogg.

Duct tape was wrapped several times around Snell’s head and mouth.

Snell, 23, has a history of criminal mischief, burglary and drug charges.
