Five Mile Road Closure Gets Under Way Monday

The Spokane County Public Works Division will close Five Mile Road beginning Monday. The closure will affect motorists from Waikiki Road west to Toni Ray Road.

The shutdown will last approximately six weeks for the $1.1 million Forest Hills sewer line installation project, which will connect 193 homes to the sewer system.

Local residents will be allowed through the area while the road is closed.

The entire project is slated for completion by the end of September. , DataTimes
