Sprague Earns Pole

Jack Sprague, fresh off his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory at Nazareth, Pa., will start from the pole position in today’s Sears DieHard 200 at The Milwaukee Mile.

Sprague, winner of the $346,834 event a year ago, drove his Chevrolet to a fast lap of 119.178 mph to break Mike Bliss’ year-old standard over the flat, one-mile oval at State Fair Park.

Spokane’s Chad Little will start 29th in the Pepsi 400 Winston Cup race at Daytona Beach, Fla., today. His time was 186.834.

Mike Skinner won the pole at 189.777 Thursday.
