Marquez Still Ibf Champion

Raul Marquez knocked down Romallis Ellis in the second round and stopped him with a series of lefts at 1:10 of the fourth to retain the IBF junior middleweight title.

Marquez (27-0) knocked Ellis down in the second, then rocked him with three thunderous lefts in the fourth round, forcing referee Elmo Adolph to step in and stop the bout.

Two-time former world champion Michael Nunn knocked out Lonnie Horn with 1 second left in the first round in a light heavyweight bout in Moline, Ill. Horn, of Moline, went down from a shot to the midsection, the first time in his 10-year career that he had gone down due to a blow to the body.
