Pet Microchip Clinic Saturday
The Spokane County animal shelter and Pet Rescue Coalition are sponsoring a pet microchip licensing clinic Saturday.
The event will run from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the county animal shelter, 2521 N. Flora. A veterinarian will be on hand to inject microchips into pets.
The chips, which can be read with an electronic scanner, are encoded with numbers that can be used to reunite lost pets with their owners.
The cost is $15 for pets with proof of current license.
