2 Young Men Held In North Side Fight

Police have arrested two young men they say took part in a bloody fight in northeast Spokane last month.

Officers arrested Justin D. Trent and Vasily Florianovich on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the men were involved in a June 27 fight between two groups at the climbing rocks off Upriver Drive.

Trent, 18, is accused of stabbing a 21-year-old man during the incident. Florianovich, 20, is suspected of beating two other men, inflicting severe facial injuries on one of them.

Trent was booked in jail on a charge of first-degree assault. Florianovich, 20, was booked on two counts of second-degree assault.

More arrests are expected.
