Decomposed Body Found In Columbia

The body of a woman was found in the Columbia River near its confluence with the Kettle River about 8 p.m. Saturday, according to the Ferry County Sheriff’s Department.

Due to decomposition, the woman could not be identified and she had no identification on her, the department said. An autopsy will be performed today.
