Two Area Airports Get State Grants
The Coeur d’Alene Air Terminal and Moscow-Pullman Airport have received $72,542 in state grants to fund airport improvements, the Idaho Aeronautics Advisory Board announced Monday.
The Coeur d’Alene Terminal was awarded $50,142 in state grants. Combined with local and Federal Aviation Administration funds, the airport will make $1.25 million in improvements.
The money will be used to update the airport’s master plan, build a hangar taxiway and aircraft parking apron, fence the airport perimeter, and buy land for a runway safety zone.
