Pathfinder Glitch Solved, Nasa Says

Mars Pathfinder was back on track Tuesday after NASA reported solving the communications problems that bedeviled the mission.

Data and pictures from the Red Planet were flowing well again, scientists said as the mission headed into its 18th day on Mars.

“This morning we got data, quite a bit of data,” said mission manager Richard Cook.

In the past week and a half, Pathfinder’s computer overloaded and reset itself three times.
