Man Robbed, Stripped Naked In South Hill Wooded Area

A man walking in a wooded area on the South Hill was robbed and stripped naked Tuesday morning, police said.

The 29-year-old man was walking in the woods at 33rd and Mount Vernon when a man with a handgun came out from behind a bush and demanded money, according to police.

After the victim handed over his wallet, the robber also demanded the man’s clothes. The robber put the clothing in his backpack and fled on foot, police said.

The victim covered himself with a plastic bag and went to a nearby house to call police.

The robber is described as about 45 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 200 pounds, with black, collar-length hair and brown eyes. , DataTimes
