Public Invited To Second Maxey Memorial Service

A second memorial service will be held Sunday for Carl Maxey at Calvary Baptist Church, E. 203 Third.

The public is invited.

The 3:30 p.m. service will include choirs, ministers and church members from around Spokane who were unable to attend or participate in Monday’s services at the Ridpath Hotel.

Maxey, a leading Spokane attorney and civil rights activist, died July 17 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. , DataTimes
