Suspects In Beach Slayings Still Sought

Associated Press

Investigators say that a flurry of tips on the whereabouts of two men suspected in the “thrill kill” slaying of two people on a Seaside beach have so far turned up nothing.

Many of the calls said Jesse McAllister, 19, and Bradley Price, 22, had been seen in Curry County, Ore., and its neighbor to the south, Del Norte County, Calif.

“They’re not terribly hot but they’re something,” Clatsop County District Attorney Josh Marquis said of the tips. “Part of it may simply be that Brad Price is from there.”

In all, investigators have received more than 150 calls from the public.

But Seaside police Sgt. Steve Barnett said, “We have no fruit gained from all of these tips.”

Barnett said little was gained from a brief mention of the case last Saturday on the “America’s Most Wanted” television show. A longer segment will be aired Saturday.

Fisherman Frank Nimz, 36, and Gabriella Brooke Goza, 26, the daughter of a prominent veterinarian, were sitting on the beach early the morning of July 14 when they were killed with single shots to the head.
