Guns N’ Roses Colleague Overdoses

Aaron West Arkeen, a songwriter-musician known as an honorary member of Guns N’ Roses, died Friday of a drug overdose. He was 36.

His management company said he was suffered an opiate overdose while recovering from serious burns suffered in an indoor barbecue explosion.

He wrote and played on numerous hits with Guns N’ Roses, Brother Cane, Sly Stone, Phantom Blue, Izzy Stradlin, Femme Fatale and Johnny Winter.
