Whitworth Presbyterian Bible School Starts Soon

Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church is gearing up for its annual vacation Bible school June 23-27. This year’s theme is “Sonrise Balloon Adventure: A High Flying Adventure in Faith.”

The Bible school is open to kids age 4 through the sixth grade. Activities planned include skits, arts and crafts, music, games and Bible study.

The cost of the school is $3 per child. To register or to find out more about volunteering, call the church office at 466-0305.

Audubon Park Bible school

Audubon Park United Methodist Church is also planning a vacation Bible school for the week of June 23-27. Children age 4 through the sixth grade are invited to come and “Celebrate Jesus.”

The children will be singing, making arts and crafts, playing games and learning Bible stories. The school is free. To register, call the church office at 325-4541.

New worship service at St. Peter

St. Peter Lutheran Church, 4620 N. Regal, has added a new worship service to its schedule. The new service, held each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., is intended to reach those who plan to be out of town on the summer weekends. The services will have a different style from regular Sundays.

Summer schedule begins

Country Homes Christian Church, 8415 N. Wall, has begun its summer worship schedule. There will be one worship service on Sundays at 10 a.m. Summer Sunday school classes will not be offered.
