Adult Bobcat Captured In West Seattle Neighborhood
Animal control officers on Thursday netted what appears to be an adult bobcat in the West Seattle neighborhood.
“It’s definitely not a domestic house cat,” animal control spokesman Don Jordan told KIRO-TV.
But whether it’s 100 percent bobcat is still unclear, he said.
The sex of the animal also was undetermined.
Roger Binkley, a West Seattle resident, told KIRO the wild cat had been seen in the neighborhood for about a week.
The cat will be moved from a city shelter to the wildlife rescue center operated by the Protective Animal Welfare Society in Lynnwood.
