Child Porno Offender Gets 25 Years

A Graham man who pleaded guilty to child pornography and related crimes has been sentenced to 25 years in prison - more than double the 10-year maximum under state sentencing guidelines.

David Warren, 56, pleaded guilty March 17 to four of the eight original charges against him - third-degree child rape, third-degree child molestation, sexual exploitation of a minor and depiction of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Pierce County Superior Court Judge Fred Fleming said he was shocked by Graham’s crimes with 10 young girls. The judge viewed 190 exhibits at a two-day sentencing earing before imposing sentence Tuesday. The exhibits included more than 100 photographs of girls 12 to 16, five videotapes depicting the girls in lewd acts - some with the defendant - and sex toys and sexually oriented computer games.

Fleming said the exceptional circumstances warranted a longer sentence.

Warren, a retired Army enlisted man, had no prior convictions.

The home was wired for video and audio, with remote controls for the five video cameras, Neeb said.
