Graf Tax Charges Dropped

Two days after a knee operation that threatens her extraordinary career, Steffi Graf learned that the chief prosecutor in her tax evasion case has said the investigation against the tennis great has been dropped.

Chief district attorney Hubert Jobski told a Mannheim radio station that Graf has agreed to pay $760,000 to the state and charitable causes.
