Gun Range Death Ruled A Suicide
The King County medical examiner’s office has ruled the death of a man at a Bellevue gun range a suicide.
Eric T. Kim, 27, of Seattle rented a Glock 9mm pistol Friday afternoon and, after firing more than 50 rounds in target practice, shot himself in the head.
He was removed from life support and pronounced dead Saturday at Overlake Hospital Medical Center.
Kim’s parents had flown in from Korea to attend their son’s graduation from the University of Washington, Kim’s roommate Jimmy Jang told the Eastside Journal.
But university records showed that Kim had not been enrolled in school since the fall quarter of 1993, said associate registrar Van Johnson.
