Next year, the New Year’s Eve ball will be dropping onto the roof of a Times Square building owned by Germans.

One Times Square, a tall, needle-like building known as one of the most valuable signposts in the world, is being sold to German investors, The New York Times reported Thursday.

Jamestown group, a German investment firm, will pay $110 million for the building seen by roughly 250 million television viewers every Dec. 31.
