Small Bombs Explode In Spanish Cathedral

Two small bombs exploded Sunday in the Barcelona Cathedral during Mass, forcing the evacuation of about 1,000 worshipers.

There were no injuries and only minor damage, police said.

The previously unknown Anticlerical Republican Group claimed responsibility.

Police said the group called to warn of the bombs 20 minutes before they were detonated. Police later deactivated a third bomb in the cathedral.
