Accused Rapist Infected With Aids

Two pregnant rape victims are living a double nightmare after discovering the man accused in the attacks has the AIDS virus.

And police fear there may be more victims.

“We’re concerned, obviously, about the two incidents in Surrey we’re investigating,” said Constable Grant Learned of Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

“We’re led to believe there are other investigations ongoing in other (Vancouver-area) jurisdictions of a similar nature,” Learned said.

Kulvinder Singh Dadwal, 33, was charged Saturday with two counts of sexual assault.

Dadwal was arrested in this Vancouver suburb Friday after a 22-hour investigation of the first assault.

The first victim is four months pregnant and was assaulted after answering a knock on her door Wednesday.

On Thursday, a man knocked at another area home and sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s who is six months pregnant.
