Gu Faculty Members Recently Promoted

Gonzaga University recently promoted several faculty members. From assistant professor to full professor are: David Elloy, School of Business Administration; Michael Herzog, English; Eric Kincanon, physics; Sam Leigland, psychology; and Paul Nowak, engineering.

Faculty members promoted from assistant professor to associate professor:

Michael Bonin and Daniel Butterworth, English; Pete Chong, School of Business Administration; Lynn Daggett, School of Law; Allan Englekirk, modern languages; William Ettinger, biology; Douglas Kries, philosophy; Linda Schearing and Catherine Siejk, religious studies; Michael Tkacz, philosophy; and Nancy Worsham, psychology.

David Bush, Spokane, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

Students must achieve a 3.5 grade point average and carry at least 12 graded semester hours to be on the list.

Kevin Haiar, Spokane, has received two scholarships at Washington State University, where he is a junior majoring in civil engineering.

Haiar, son of Donna and Mark Haiar, has been awarded the Emmett B. Moore scholarship of $1,000 and the Henry Towaley Heald Memorial scholarship for $200.

Gonzaga University School of Law has announced its Dean’s Academic Honors List for fall semester.
