UW Med School Earns High Marks
U.S. News & World Report magazine ranks the University of Washington’s School of Medicine the best in the nation for primary care for the fourth year in a row.
The rankings, released Thursday, are part of the magazine’s annual survey of graduate programs and professional schools. The information will appear in the March 10 issue, which will be at newsstands Monday.
The UW medical school ranked 13th for research, according to the magazine.
Other University of Washington programs in the Top 10 were:
Family medicine, rural medicine, 1st.
Women’s health, 3rd.
Public health, drama, 4th.
Geriatrics, pediatrics, 5th.
Health-services administration, social work, 6th.
Creative writing, 10th.
