Latisha Stephans Is Rogers Princess

The fourth of 12 Lilac Festival princesses was chosen Tuesday.

Latisha Stephans, an 18-year-old Rogers High senior, will represent her school. She is the daughter of Janice and Curtis Thompson.

Stephans, a National Honor Society member, is active in the Rogers Student Reach Out program and volunteers at the Spokane Child Abuse and Neglect Protection Center. She is also a member of the Youth Hall of Fame.

She plans to attend Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., majoring in psychology and Japanese.

One of the Lilac princesses will be named queen April 12 at Shadle Park High School. , DataTimes
