Lakeside Runs Past Cascade

A-4 boys

James Twoteeth scored 15 points to lead Lakeside past Cascade (18-4) 71-57 in Idaho state A-4 action at Borah High School in Boise.

Lakeside next plays Dietrich at 6:30 tonight in the semis at Borah.

The Knights (21-1) jumped to a 17-point halftime lead and were never threatened in the second half.

Andrew Twiss added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Lakeside. Buck Allen had 11 points for the Knights.

Cascade moves to the consolation bracket.

Troy 47, Mullan 34

Morgan LeBlanc scored 25 points, including four 3-pointers, and had six rebounds to lead Troy (22-3) past Mullan (18-7) in other state A-4 at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise.

Although Troy was a small team in size, they were able to stop the Tigers with a tenacious man-to-man defense. Al Sisk led the Tigers (18-7) with 24 points and 12 rebounds. John Potter added ten points and six rebounds for Troy.

Mullan moves into the losers bracket against Nampa Christian at 3:50 today at Bishop Kelly.
