Oilers Land Marts
The Houston Oilers have reached a multi-year agreement with unrestricted free agent linebacker Lonnie Marts.
Marts, 28, played for Tampa Bay the last three seasons. The Oilers also announced they had come to terms on a multi-year contract with cornerback Steve Jackson, who has been with Houston since 1991.
Free-agent defensive back Corey Harris, formerly with the Seaatle Seahawks, will play safety this year for his new team, the Miami Dolphins.
Harris agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the Dolphins worth about $4.5 million, including a $1.8 million signing bonus.
